I am ISSA certified as an Elite Level Personal Trainer as well as a Specialist in Fitness Nutrition, and a Bodybuilding Specialist Coach. I have an associate’s degree in Applied Science and I am a retired Registered Respiratory Therapist. I am a level 1 Precision Nutrition coach.
I love Jesus, fitness, and underdogs. I once was an underdog myself. I got tired of feeling average and decided to be legendary by becoming an athlete at age 40 when I won the Overall at my first bikini competition. Eight months later I went to Nationals and won my IFBB Pro card at my second show ever!

Before joining with coach Lacy my diet wasn’t tight. I ate based on mood, without much concern. I never had a clear understanding of what a nutrition plan ought to be for my body. I had finally got to my heaviest weight, with looming medical concerns that come with sustained weight gain. Being overweight had emotional costs as well. I lost confidence and belief in myself. The clothes I chose to purchase had the goal of hiding as much as I could. The act of buying clothes was an emotional battleground, that I rather avoided. There was little self-love left. When developing my nutrition plan, Lacy gave me the option of macro counting or providing a meal plan – I opted for the meal plan – and the meals are not repetitive like meal plans I’ve followed in the past! I have a range of foods to eat throughout the week and even my husband was excited about some of the recipes she provided me along with the plan! For my workout plan, she asked about my preferences. She asked about whether I’d be working out at home or at the gym. Since our family is still being very cautious (during the ongoing COVID pandemic), I told her I’d be working out at home. She asked about the equipment I had at my house and incorporated all of it into my plan! My daughter got me a Total Gym for Christmas and Lacy read the manual and studied the exercises I could do with it to incorporate it into my workout plan! I have never had a coach that spent that much time and energy to accommodate my preferences.
Before working with Coach Lacy 1:1 I held the belief that I must consign myself to the idea that my body will never transform to the inner image that I dreamed of. I dreamt of what may be possible but struggled to find that path. On the days when my dream seemed hopeless, I swung to lower moods and lower self-esteem. When I began working with Coach Lacy I had for the first time, genuine hope. From the onset, Lacy invests in you. She sees you and hears your story. Lacy provided an informed meal plan based on my body and goals. A plan that didn’t leave me starving but provided energy both in the gym and out of the gym. The cost of purchasing supplements, hope in a can, was swept aside with nutrition. The exercise program was challenging and empowering. More than that together results came. I was losing weight and simultaneously, I was gaining muscle. Strength was empowering, I was losing shame of my appearance. I gained improved sleep, improved self-confidence, and lean muscle mass. I also gained hope that has been discovered and maintained as well as drive to reach for more than a trimmer me. I am reaching for a stronger me, in body and mind. What’s more, this plan isn’t static, as you change, as you hit walls; she adapts the plan again to you. The plan is outlined in detail, removing all the guesswork. This includes the exercise (with a supplemental video explaining the movement), and the number of reps for that movement. Each day has new exercises, to keep the boredom out of the routine. The interactive app helps keep track of your progress and provides a reference for today’s goal. The meals are laid out in detail that fit your lifestyle. Currently, I have opted to track macros, which she provides the details. Should I find this cumbersome, Lacy will provide a meal plan. Always the journey is tailored to you. What I have also loved is her excitement for me. She roots for me and experiences all my wins alongside me.
I have been truly blessed to have Lacy as a friend and coach. She has helped me transform my body into one that I am finally able to say that I love. I had struggled with being overweight for most of my life. Almost 7 years ago I weighed over 320# before I decided that I needed to change my lifestyle. I needed to get control of my heath in order to be a good role model for my niece. I hated my body. I was out of breath from just trying to tie my shoes and I had no energy. I was able to get my weight down to 200# on my own but I was stuck. I was doing a ton of cardio every day and I knew that if I tried another fad diet I was going to end up even heavier. I knew I needed to stop the yo-yo dieting cycle but I didn’t know how to take my health to the next level. With Lacy’s help, I learned that in order to get control of my weight, I didn’t need to starve myself. I learned that I was not feeding my body the right macro nutrients and I was not doing enough strength training to help me build more muscle so that I could burn more calories. Just walking, running, and doing aerobics classes several times a week was not going to get me to where I wanted to be. Lacy has been my biggest cheerleader! Whenever I fell of the fell of the wagon, all I needed to do was let her know what was going on and she was right there to give me pep talks to help me mentally prepare myself to get right back on track. She has helped me gain the confidence that I need to be successful and when I reach my goals, she celebrates right along with me. Working with Lacy has been the best decision of my life. I love this lifestyle and it one that I can maintain for the rest of my life.
Prior to joining Team Legendary Physique, I was working out on my own and for the most part, eating healthy. I wasn’t seeing the results that I knew I should be having. I was very frustrated, I was working out sometimes twice a day, teaching a fitness class and not seeing changes despite all of my hard work.
I can not begin to express how much my life changed when I began working with Coach Lacy through Team Legendary Physique. I tell people that Coach Lacy is like my little miracle worker.
